The possibilities are endless when ‘throwing the bones’ with your loyal seer, but here are some ideas to get you started. Tip: Capturing video can be really helpful (and adorable) for some of these methods, especially if your pup eats quickly!

Fun Ways to Read Runes with your Furry Oracle
The Basic
Ask your dog to sit while you shake the bag of runes. When they give you a sign (like stamping their paw, licking their chops, wagging their tail or a sly wink) then draw a rune. It’s that easy!

The Hunt
Hide the rune treats around your home or garden, then let your dog loose to find them! Pay attention to the order in which each rune is discovered, interpreting the first 3 as past, present and future.
Tip: Don’t forget which runes you hid where - some pups eat fast!

More Rune Reading Ideas
The Rune Walk
Set off on a walk with your loyal companion. Draw a rune at each big sniff stop. Look around the environment for additional insight and context while you decipher the meaning of each rune drawn, giving more weight to those drawn early in the adventure.
The Magic Circle (for disciplined seers)
Ask your very good boy or girl to sit patiently while you place all the runes around them in a circle. At your cue, let them gobble up rune treats! Watch to see which ones they eat first, giving more weight to the first 3 they pick.
Tip: A video really helps with this one, allowing you to see the exact order runes were chosen.
